Laura Wintersteen has many years experience in diabetes education as a Certified Diabetes Educator. Her experience includes group classes, individual education in a clinic setting, classroom, clinical, and providing seminars to health care professionals across the country, managing an outpatient diabetes education center. She is also a Certified Health Simulation Educator, involved in facilitating simulations at WSU, as well as simulations with the Air National Guard, Army Combat Medics, professional conferences, Na-Ha-Shnee camp, as well as writing simulation scenarios.
