Dr. Connie Kim Yen Nguyen-Truong’s has been appointed to the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Committee of the American Academy of Nursing (AAN). Dr. Nguyen-Truong, an esteemed Associate Professor within WSU’s College of Nursing, has been invited for the 2023 – 2025 term.
Dr. Nguyen-Truong’s appointment to the AAN EDI Committee is a testament to her unwavering commitment to advancing the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. As an academic leader, she has a distinguished track record of leading grant-funded community-based participatory research, community participatory action research, and community-engaged research and scholarship.
