Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The Washington State University College of Nursing promotes an environment that embraces and honors all persons.

Everyone is encouraged to explore, understand, and appreciate similarities and differences including, but not limited to: abilities, age, culture, ethnicity, family structure, gender identity, geographical location, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and spirituality.

An inclusive and supportive climate is fostered through education, practice, service, advocacy, research, and initiatives to support the mission of the College. This statement permeates everything we do in the College. We are committed to actions that support the spirit of this resolution.

Adopted by Faculty Governance Organization, 12/7/18.
