Washington State University College of Nursing is adding Arbor Health in Morton, WA as a new partner in its Rural Nursing Pathway program, expanding opportunities for students to learn in rural health care settings while supporting communities facing nursing workforce needs.
The new partnership will begin with two WSU College of Nursing students placed with Arbor Health.
The Rural Nursing Pathway connects nursing students with rural clinical experiences across Washington. Through these placements, students gain firsthand experience in rural health care delivery, build relationships with local providers, and explore career pathways in communities where nurses play a critical role.

Arbor Health serves patients in Morton and surrounding East Lewis County communities. As a new partner, Arbor Health will help provide students with rural clinical learning experiences while introducing them to the strengths and needs of a community-based health system.
