Students at the Washington State University College of Nursing hosted a Halloween event for kids who have dietary restrictions or special needs, and the community responded.

About two dozen children and their families attended the event held on the campus of WSU Health Sciences Spokane. There were games, prizes, and food marked with carb counts, all free and open to the public.

It was the second year undergraduate nursing students had organized and hosted the event, “Trick or Treat so All Can Eat.”
