Doctor of Nursing (DNP) White Coat Ceremony

Dr. Fincham congratulating a new DNP coat recipient.

In March, we celebrated our 2nd annual White Coat Ceremony, a new tradition at WSU College of Nursing that honors our DNP students as they earn their white coats. This ceremony marks a significant milestone in their educational journey, symbolizing their commitment to professionalism and compassionate care. The white coats, provided to the students by the Doctor of Nursing Practice Fund, serve as a powerful reminder of the values and responsibilities our students will carry forward into their clinical and practicum hours and throughout their careers. Learn more about the Doctor of Nursing Fund and help keep the tradition going.
