Western Institute of Nursing (WIN) Conference

This year’s WIN Conference was held in Spokane, WA. WSU College of Nursing proudly served as a presenting sponsor and kicked off the event with a symposium focused on advancing symptom management across populations and settings. Dean Mary Koithan and several faculty members shared their expertise through engaging presentations, showcasing our leadership in nursing education and research. The conference welcomed over 800 attendees, and we were thrilled to see many WSU alumni in attendance. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event or stopped by the WSU College of Nursing booth.

Doctor of Nursing (DNP) White Coat Ceremony

In March, we celebrated our 2nd annual White Coat Ceremony, a new tradition at WSU College of Nursing that honors our DNP students as they earn their white coats. This ceremony marks a significant milestone in their educational journey, symbolizing their commitment to professionalism and compassionate care. The white coats, provided to the students by the Doctor of Nursing Practice Fund, serve as a powerful reminder of the values and responsibilities our students will carry forward into their clinical and practicum hours and throughout their careers. Learn more about the Doctor of Nursing Fund and help keep the tradition going.
Celebration of Giving

We honored our incredible donors and celebrated our scholarship recipients at the annual Celebration of Giving. In the 2024-2025 academic year, were able to awarded over $310,000 in scholarships. At the event our honors students presented their thesis posters and attendees checked out our new 3D Printer.
If you missed the event, you can watch the livestream on our YouTube channel.
