Jenifer Brewer New GNSA Liaison for Washington State University College of Nursing

Jenifer Brewer AACN GNSA Liason

The Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA) continues its mission to support and empower graduate nursing students across AACN member schools, and its latest recognition shines a spotlight on Jenifer Brewer from Washington State University (WSU).

Recently appointed as the GNSA Liaison for WSU College of Nursing for the term spanning March 2024 to May 2025, Brewer brings a wealth of dedication and enthusiasm to her new role.

Brewer, currently pursuing her Masters of Nursing Population Health degree at the WSU Spokane campus, has been an active member of GNSA since 2023. Her commitment to excellence and passion for enhancing the graduate nursing experience make her an ideal candidate for this leadership position.

Reflecting on her appointment, Brewer shared, “I am a MN-Population Health student at the Spokane campus. I saw this leadership opportunity and decided to apply. I have enjoyed getting involved in extra opportunities/projects during my graduate program (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI) advisory council for the College of Nursing, Planetary Health Report Card, Western Institute of Nursing (WIN) conference, etc.). I thought this role would be a good way to encourage other graduate nursing students to look at opportunities available to them beyond their coursework.”

Congratulations to Jenifer Brewer on her well-deserved appointment, and best wishes for a successful tenure as the GNSA Liaison for Washington State University College of Nursing!
