Nurse practitioner talks about the lure of rural care

David Colvin was a longtime teacher when he decided to go back to school and become a nurse practitioner.

He graduated from the WSU College of Nursing at 58, and immediately landed a job in a rural clinic near his home in northeastern Washington.

In this video he talks about what attracted him to rural care, and about starting over.
