The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the Washington State University College of Nursing ranks No. 58 out of nearly 700 BSN programs nationwide, according to US News & World Report.

The rankings, released Monday, are the first-ever for BSN programs by US News. They are based solely on surveys of nursing deans and senior faculty members about the academic quality of peer institutions. Only officials with accredited programs awarding more than 35 BSN degrees were surveyed.

WSU has offered a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree for more than 50 years. The college has more than 500 BSN students enrolled in Spokane, Yakima and the Tri-Cities.
