Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Integrative Medicine Northwest is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team!
We are not a traditional primary care or psychiatric practice. Our providers take a root-cause, whole-person approach to health and work collaboratively to help patients uncover and address the underlying contributors to both physical and mental health concerns.
The ideal candidate is passionate about psychiatry, values meaningful patient relationships, and believes mental health is influenced by factors such as nutrition, sleep, hormones, metabolic health, environmental exposures, lifestyle, stress, and overall wellness—not solely symptoms and medication management.
Recent PMHNP graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Functional medicine experience is not required; however, a genuine interest in learning and practicing within an integrative, root-cause-oriented model of care is essential.

Responsibilities
- Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis
- Medication management when appropriate
- Ongoing mental health assessment and follow-up
- Collaboration with primary care and functional medicine providers
- Review and interpretation of laboratory testing and other clinical data relevant to mental health
- Development of comprehensive treatment plans utilizing both conventional and integrative approaches
- Participation in collaborative care planning and case review
Qualifications
- Licensed or license-eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Washington State
- DEA license or ability to obtain DEA licensure
- Strong interest in integrative and functional medicine and alignment with a root-cause, whole-person philosophy of care
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Functional medicine training, coursework, or self-study
- Experience with lifestyle medicine, nutrition, sleep optimization, hormone health, or metabolic health
- Familiarity with supplements and integrative treatment approaches
- Experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other common psychiatric conditions
