Danielle has been a practicing nurse for seven years. She started her career in acute care where she worked in various areas including medical-surgical, orthopedics, and labor and delivery. Her acute care experience helped her build foundational knowledge for her nursing practice. Her passion has always been in public health. Danielle worked for the Seattle Public School District for three years as a school nurse, an  invaluable experience that served as a guide for her journey into nursing education and leadership.
