Dr. Josh Hamilton is the Clinical Professor and Chair of the Department of Advanced Practice and Community-Based Care at Washington State University’s College of Nursing in Spokane.
With over 25 years of nursing experience, Dr. Hamilton has made significant contributions to the field through his national telepsychiatry practice, leadership in academic and clinical settings, and extensive research in precision mental health care. His expertise spans neurobiology, pharmacology, and psychopharmacogenomics, making him an internationally recognized speaker and a leader in psychiatric nursing. Dr. Hamilton’s innovative work in precision medicine and his commitment to advancing mental health care have earned him numerous accolades, including being named America’s Top Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 2021.
