Six CON faculty currently practice at the Spokane Colleges Student Health Clinic. A partnership with Spokane Public Schools to open a school-based health clinic is in progress as is a plan to deliver tele-behavioral health services across Washington state.

Challenges in funding the faculty clinical role through department personnel funds have arisen due to the need to backfill teaching workload when faculty engage in clinical practice. In some geographic/campus areas, there are no contracts yet in place between the CON and clinical partners for faculty practice – this is a future opportunity.
