Preceptor Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in serving as a Preceptor for the College of Nursing!Please complete this form and we will review your information.
Please keep in mind that the following requirements must be met in order to be eligible to receive an honorarium for serving as a Preceptor:
- Must be a licensed practitioner meeting state requirements for precepting in the eligible courses.
- Must provide clinical education for WSU DNP, FNP, or PMHNP students for the assigned course/s.
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted license to practice in Washington state and/or other applicable state.
- Must be employed at an approved Practice Site.
- Must commit to providing 60-180 hours (1-3 credit hours) of precepting per approved clinical course.
Please also note that per the Code of Federal Regulations, federal and state employees may not be eligible to collect additional compensation. Potential Preceptors who are employed by state or federal agencies should speak with their HR department to determine eligibility.
