How I Teach (HIT) Roundtable
November 14, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Office of Curriculum and Evaluation cordially invites you to the November HIT Roundtable! Come to hear one of your faculty colleagues discuss one of their innovative learning activities at this informal roundtable. Faculty from all CON programs are welcome to attend!
This month, join WSU College of Nursing Teaching Assistant Professor Dr. Cindy Brigham-Althoff to hear about the importance of incorporating play into learning.
Dr. Brigham-Althoff has taught on the Spokane campus for six years and has co-taught the PLBSN OB didactic course since Spring 2022. She also teaches Community Health and OB clinical groups and the Senior Practicum. She is passionate about teaching students in an interactive way that helps them draw connections. She owns a menopause practice in Spokane and enjoys providing evidence-based information to midlife women. She enjoys attending her children’s various events and going on dates with her husband of 22 years.
Why come to the roundtable?
- Interact with College of Nursing faculty from different departments and programs.
- Discuss best practices for teaching and learning in an informal setting.
- Leave with new ideas and a fresh perspective on your teaching practices.
