Overview

Buprenorphine is a safe and effective medication for treatment of both opioid use disorder and chronic pain.  This webinar will consider its history, FDA – approved products, and some principles for clinical use.


Mark Murphy, MDMark Murphy, MD

Mark Murphy, MD, is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington Department of Family Medicine and board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 30 years, currently practicing with MultiCare in his area of expertise, Pain Management/Addiction Medicine.
