EMERGENCY RESPONSE
What constitutes an emergency?
- Student injury, needle stick, fall IF student requires treatment or assistance with documentation surrounding event (follow facility AND WSU policies)
- Medication or treatment error (follow facility AND WSU policies)
- Unacceptable/unprofessional/unsafe behavior
RAPID CONTACT OF FACULTY (WITHIN 24-HOURS)
- Irresolvable conflict
- Grave concerns related to ability
- Projected extended absence of mentor
- Student injury, needle stick, fall (follow facility AND WSU polices) – IF able to complete documentation without questions and did not require treatment notify within 12-24 hours.
Contact your faculty facilitator first for any emergencies. If unable to reach your assigned faculty, call the on-call faculty listed below.
