Biography
Zibby enjoys bridging students with real-world nursing care as a clinical instructor and in her full-time role as the Obstetrical Nurse Specialist with MultiCare Health system. Passionate about Maternity and Newborn care, she practiced as a labor and delivery nurse for 17+ years before transitioning to education as a Nurse Professional Development Specialist at Deaconess and Valley Hospitals. In 2021 she took the system role for MultiCare’s seven birth centers. Zibby is active locally with the Spokane Regional Health District, is the chair for the local Nurses’ Advisory Committee for Perinatal Education and is an active AWHONN member. Zibby has taught nursing students locally for the past 10 years and joined the WSU team in 2016 while obtaining her master’s degree as a Teaching Assistant.
