Biography
Brittany Van Nostrand graduated with her BSN in 2014, where she started her nursing career in an Acute Cardiac Progressive Care unit in her hometown of Lincoln, NE. In 2016, she and her family moved to Spokane, WA, where she continued her cardiac practice at MultiCare Deaconess Hospital. Brittany has a passion for delivering and educating cardiac care to patients and new nurses. In 2020, she enrolled in her Master’s in Nursing Degree-Education Certificate at Washington State University. She then started as a Clinical Instructor for WSU in the Fall of 2022, while also working part-time in the hospital as a charge nurse and preceptor. Brittany is actively involved in hospital-wide committees within the hospital to help improve professional development and safety processes to improve patient care and help new nurses integrate into practice. When she is not at work, she loves to run, bake and enjoys the outdoors exploring with her husband, three young boys, and their corgi pup.
