OB RN – Per Diem

Coulee Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Labor and Delivery RN to join its nursing team in Grand Coulee, Washington. This per diem OB RN will primarily care for obstetric patients when they present for care.

Candidates must be able to work quickly and efficiently in stressful environments while addressing patient concerns appropriately and with compassion in accordance with Coulee Medical Center’s mission, vision, and values.

Coulee Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that continues to offer obstetrical care. The OB RN is responsible for the laboring care of an average of four to five patients per month, as well as performing NSTs and assessing pregnant women.

Coulee Medical Center is also willing to train the right candidate with acute care or medical/surgical experience in obstetrics through an internship program. Candidates should have strong acute care or medical/surgical experience and a strong desire to expand their skills into obstetrics.

Licenses and Certifications

Applicants must have a valid Washington State RN license. Minimum certifications include:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • EFM

For candidates who are not yet trained in obstetrics, NRP and EFM certification will be obtained during the training period.

Benefits and Salary

Per diem employees are not eligible for benefits but will receive Paid Sick Leave accrual at .025/hour. The official salary range will be determined based on the position and contract terms.

Pay Range

The pay grade range for this position has been finalized by the facility based on an evaluation of the role’s duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
