Anne Mason, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, is serving as Interim Dean of the Washington State University College of Nursing. A dedicated member of the College since 2002, Dr. Mason has devoted her career to advancing nursing education and supporting the next generation of Coug Nurses. She is known for her collaborative spirit, student-centered approach, and commitment to building strong partnerships that strengthen both the College and the communities it serves. Most recently Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Clinical Associate Professor, Dr. Mason brings extensive experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and interprofessional education. As a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she has cared for patients across a wide variety of settings—including corrections, private practice, and adolescent mental health—experiences that continue to inform her passion for preparing nurses and nursing faculty to meet the evolving health needs of individuals and communities.
