WSU Nursing Faculty Recognized at March of Dimes “Heroes in Action”

Dr. Nguyen-Truong was recognized by the March of Dimes as the 2022 Nurse of the Year. And Dr. Fritz received the 2022 March of Dimes Nurse Researcher award.

Two Washington State University College of Nursing Faculty were recognized as “heroes in action” by the March of Dimes on October 7, 2022.

Associate Professor Connie Nguyen-Truong, PhD, RN, ANEF was awarded the 2022 March of Dimes “Nurse of the Year” Award. And, Associate Professor Roschelle (Shelly) Fritz, PhD, RN received the March of Dimes “Nurse Researcher Award” at the event in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Nguyen-Truong (first row, far right) was recognized by the March of Dimes as the 2022 Nurse of the Year.
And Dr. Fritz (2nd row, far right) received the 2022 March of Dimes Nurse Researcher award.
