New CE Opportunity

Preceptors and healthcare providers are invited to visit the WSU College of Nursing Free Continuing Education page for a new CE opportunity, Managing Depression in the Primary Care Setting, presented by Fionnuala S. Brown, DNP, MSN, ARNP & Brandie Tilch-Bryant, DNP, ARNP.

In this activity, you will:

  1. learn the causes and prevalence of depression in the primary care setting
  2. differentiate common disease processes, medications, and conditions that mimic symptoms of depression
  3. identify and interpret the results of the various screening tools utilized to identify depression
  4. summarize key pharmacotherapeutic agents used in primary care to manage depression.

1.25 credit hours from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners are available.
