Job Description
Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinics is seeking a RN Clinic Specialist to join our Primary Care team. This role is a blend of hands-on patient care and leadership, giving you the opportunity to deliver excellent nursing care while supporting clinic operations, staff development, and quality improvement. What You’ll Do

  • Lead by example, inspiring clinic teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Oversee daily clinical operations in collaboration with the Director and Manager of Clinics
  • Triage patients, coordinate same-day appointments, and provide direct patient care as needed
  • Support providers with exams, procedures, injections, wound care, and lab specimen collection
  • Train, onboard, and conduct competency assessments for staff
  • Coordinate prior authorizations, chart reviews, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Serve as an EMR resource — supporting workflows, updates, and training for staff and providers
  • Monitor and report practice performance metrics, driving quality and efficiency improvements
  • Travel to clinic sites across Colfax, Tekoa, St. John, and Garfield as needed
  • What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current RN license in Washington State
  • AHA BLS certification (maintained during employment)
  • At least 1 year of clinic experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
