RN RESIDENCY PROGRAM
The nurse residency program at Confluence Health is designed to support new graduate nurses as they transition from being a student to their first professional nursing position. Blended learning activities, like precepted clinical shifts, simulation, instructor-led training, and a robust mentorship program, provide residents with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, high-quality patient care. The residency program focuses on building decision-making skills and helps increase nurse competence and confidence. Residency programs range from 13 weeks to 6 months depending on the specialty.
