Just two weeks ago, Andrea Perry ’11, was in the right place at the right time at the Washington State v. Utah game where she saved the life of fellow Coug fan Rob Martin.
Now, on their way to this weekend’s Washington State v. Arizona State game, Perry and her husband were called to action on the road as they travelled to the game. They stopped to assist a driver, Joe, who had a seizure on the way to the game. Joe’s friends safely stopped the vehicle and had called 911 for help. Andrea performed a stroke assessment after stopping to help and spoke with 911. Perry instructed a State Trooper to dispatch LifeFlight to get Joe to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
