About the Presenter
Charlie Powell was, until Oct. 31, the Senior Public Information Officer for Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (32 years) and, concurrently, until 2013, the Public Information Director for the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (20 years). He has taught courses for the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication on crisis communication, risk communication, and communicating science and technology for over ten years.
