Family seeking weekend caregiving help

A Spokane-area family is seeking help caring for an 84-year-old woman, Winnie, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease 10 years ago. The family is specifically looking for someone to care for her Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm. There could be additional shifts available, usually on weekday afternoons.  Winnie’s disease progression has been slow, but she now requires 24-hour supervision. The family is looking for a kind, empathetic, patient, responsible, reliable person to watch over her. 

Duties:

Dress her in the morning (wash face, brush teeth, brush hair), make simple breakfast and lunch meals, give daily medicine (2 pills), help in the bathroom, keep her company and help her with her dogs and TV. 

Additional information:

Winnie’s house in in NW Spokane – the Indian Trail area. 

Pay – $15.00 an hour
