Where Has the Year Gone? It’s Now Time for the 2021 Virtual Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration
Like so many other conferences and meetings last year, the NIH Regional Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration shifted from in-person to virtual and reached over 13,000 attendees. So, we decided to bring it to you virtually once again! The NIH invites you to participate in the 2021 NIH Virtual Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration…with even more features and new opportunities to get your questions answered at booths and 1:1 with Experts.
We didn’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this FREE, four-day virtual event covering a broad range of grant policy, program, and process topics from application through award closeout.
Traditionally, the NIH has held this event once or twice a year for decades, providing valuable opportunities to thousands of researchers, research administrators, trainees and others trying to gain a better understanding of the NIH grants process, policies and programs. Although we can’t meet face-to-face, we’ve made some changes we hope will help the seminar feel more like a conversation, including:
- Shorter presentations and more time for live Q&A
- More case studies
- 1:1 Meet the Experts appointments (20-minute personal video, audio, or text chats)
- Matchmaking feature to find others with similar interests
- Special booths for asking questions of NIH policy, compliance, program, review, grants management, training, and eRA staff
Additional engagement and learning opportunities using the Social Media Wall and Leaderboard (for a little friendly competition)
