DARRELL EZELL, PHD
Director for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology

Dr. Ezell’s work as an expert in diversity and inclusion spans the government sector with time at the U.S. Department of State, the non-profit sector with Interfaith Worker Justice and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, and advising corporate leaders. Ezell earned his Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England. He holds vast leadership expertise in higher education currently serving as an HBCU Board Trustee at Rust College and previously as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean at Claremont Lincoln University. He has held faculty appointments at Louisiana State University, Tulane University, and Shaw University.

STEPHEN SODEKE, PHD
Professor, National Center for Bioethics Tuskegee University

Dr. Sodeke’s research interests include cross-cultural bioethics, community bioethics and issues issues related to community-based participatory research, health and human rights, health outcomes and health disparities, and in research with vulnerable populations in the United States and the developing world. He is a resource expert for the NGO Bioethics Beyond Borders.
