PCORI Funding Opportunities Open Today – including engagement and capacity building awards

The Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) today opened a funding cycle that includes:

  1. PCORI Funding Announcements (PFAs) on broad and targeted research topics, large clinical trials, methodology studies, and implementation projects. The deadline for Letters of Intent is October 5.
  2. Engagement Award Funding Announcements are also open, with an October 1 deadline for Letters of Intent. I have been a recipient of the engagement award and would happy to talk/walk anyone through the process. That is unique funding not always available at this level that support projects that encourage active, meaningful involvement of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and other healthcare stakeholders as integral members of the patient-centered outcomes research/comparative clinical effectiveness research process.
  3. Implementation awards.

Please reach out to Lois (tenured/tenure track faculty) or me (Clinical track faculty) if you are interested in any of these opportunities.
