Later this summer, the WSU Health Sciences Spokane campus will have a new system for purchasing daily and hourly parking permits.
Instead of using a parking lot payment kiosk and paying with cash or a credit card, users will soon need to simply scan a QR code located on a sign where the kiosks are and pay using the Honk mobile app. You do not need to download the app to pay for parking, though you are encouraged to download the Honk app for regular use.
Once you scan the QR code, you will be taken to an express checkout screen to choose which permit you are purchasing—hourly or daily. After providing your vehicle license plate number, permit selection and payment info, you’re done.
Term permits—annual, semester and quarterly—will still be purchased online. Parking payment codes for events or outside individuals will still be used in the same way and users will input the payment code into the express checkout screen or the Honk app.
If users don’t have a smart phone or other mobile device, parking can still be paid for in the Parking office in CCRS.
