Managing Depression in the Primary Care Setting

By the end of this presentation, you will have the causes and prevalence of depression in the primary care setting, differentiate common disease processes, medications, and conditions that mimic symptoms of depression, identify and interpret the results of the various screening tools utilized to identify depression , and summarize key pharmacotherapeutic agents used in primary care to manage depression.
