Kolby’s career track was set when he saw a birth for the first time as part of his student clinical experience. He’s now a Labor & Delivery nurse at a hospital, and plans to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. He said of the WSU College of Nursing, “You could really tell that everyone wanted you to succeed whether it be professors, administration, or clinical instructors. I wasn’t just another student; I was a future nurse that they wanted to invest in.”
