Health Economics of Buprenorphine

10/1/2012 – 9/31/2013

Abstract

This RMHSAT project is focused on understanding the costs associated with the use of buprenorphine as a treatment for opioid dependence throughout Washington state compared to other types of treatment options available to patients. This project has also examined the determinants of ‘who gets buprenorphine’ and whether or not that is a function of the number of providers licensed and trained to provide such treatment in different regions.
