Jean Schlittenhart has more than 30 years of experience working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She has enjoyed working with nursing students and being a staff nurse, parent educator, and lactation specialist.  Jean has also enjoyed developing DVD/Videos for nursing students in the newborn and NICU area to enhance transition to the hospital and community setting.  Three videos include:  The NICU Experience: Going Home, Newborn Assessment, and Care of the Infant Experiencing Drug Withdrawal.  These are currently in use for nursing student education and hospital staff education. Writing for a local newspaper on health tips and public health issues.
