These clinics help to ensure a healthy Umatilla County population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nurse Practitioner at the UCo Health clinics provides assessment, evaluation, and treatment for clients seeking reproductive health services and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment. Working in partnership with public health nurses the NP works to address the client&#8217;s needs including connecting clients to a primary care provider and other community resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-font-size--xxmedium\">Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Current and unencumbered Oregon Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduation from an accredited graduate-level program with a Master&#8217;s of Science in Nursing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Board certified, family or women&#8217;s health specialty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or other applicable healthcare experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess a valid driver&#8217;s license with a satisfactory driving record or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduation from an accredited graduate-level program with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with reproductive health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use of Umatilla County application is MANDATORY and must be submitted via our online portal at https:\/\/umatilla.casellehire.com\/jobs\/ Anyone who qualifies for Veterans&#8217; Preference in Public Employment provided for in OAR 839-006-0435; please include proper certification (OAR 839-006-0465) with your application.
