The WSU Events team wants to update you on the plans for fall commencement (separate from convocation/pinning). We are planning two in-person ceremonies in Pullman on December 11, 2021. The first ceremony at 10 a.m. will be for the summer and fall 2021 graduates (current graduates). The second ceremony at 1:30 p.m. will be for 2020 and spring 2021 graduates who missed in-person commencement due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are referring to the second ceremony as our ceremony for “returning grads”. State and public health guidelines will be followed.
Student registration for both ceremonies is open through November 14. There are two separate registration sites:
- Current grads (summer and fall 2021) will use https://commencement.wsu.edu/registration/student-registration/
- Returning grads (spring, summer, fall 2020 and spring 2021) will use https://commencement.wsu.edu/returning-graduate-registration/
Faculty registration is open through November 30. Please be sure the college dean or representative and an assistant dean/representative (diploma assistant) are registered for both ceremonies.
This year we opened registration early to coincide with an early-bird special Herff Jones was running for regalia and graduation products. The fall Grad Fair, hosted by the Bookie and Herff Jones, will be Tuesday, October 26 in the CUB Jr. Ballroom from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
