Stress can impact physical and mental health. Cougar Health Services, which includes Counseling and Mental Health Resources, provides advice about stress reduction and self-care, as well as health care.
After hours and on weekends, WSU Student Health Services has a Spokane Crisis Line at 509-368-6500. Additional resources are available 24/7 through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255 and by texting HOME to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line. All of these crisis resources are committed to protecting emotional health, sharing resources, and preventing suicide.
