We have an urgent need for donations of new or gently used pet supplies to distribute to homeless and low-income pet owners at a Healthy People + Healthy Pets clinic in late January.
The clinic is sponsored by the WSU College of Nursing and the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine, and will provide health screenings and vaccinations for pets and their people.
We’ve been told to expect 98 percent dogs and 2 percent cats, and that dog sizes are mostly either large (like pit bulls) or very small (like chihuahuas).
- Bags of dog food – large bags that can be divided into portions, or small bags that can be carried in a backpack.
- Small toys
- Sweaters/coats, large and small sizes
- Collars, large and small sizes
- Nursing building
- Pharmacy building
LAST DAY TO DONATE: January 22
This event is being sponsored by the Denice Murphy Community Nursing Endowment at WSU College of Nursing.
