  • Provide the schedule line number for each course.
  • If it is a multiple credit course (ex. N540), please specify how many credits you want.
  • If you are taking N702 credits, please provide the number of credits and the faculty member you are working with for the credits.

· Population Health Elective:  NURS 521 suggested:  Tuesdays, 4:10-7 pm on 8/22, 10/10, 11/14, 12/5 rest online.  NURS 521 is only offered during fall semesters in ODD years so is good one to get done.

I want to extend a warm welcome to graduate students in the College of Nursing at Washington State University Vancouver.  I will be serving as a Program Planner for graduate level nursing students and am happy to help you with information about campus resources, policies, forms, processes, and any questions that you have.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Seattle Pacific University and a Master of Science in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University.   I have been working in higher education for over five years at several colleges and am excited to be starting in this new role.  I am looking forward to meeting you and being a resource, coach, mentor and advocate for your success.

College of Nursing Scholarship

The College of Nursing online scholarship application is live and will remain open until September 22, at 5:00 pm.  This application cycle is for spring 2018 awards. Access the application via the following link –

In addition to student scholarships, the Development Office at the College of Nursing administers an emergency loan for students; the Iris M. Finch Memorial Loan Fund – available to any WSU College of Nursing student. It has a $1,000/term or $2,000/tenure max. An emergency is defined as “a sudden, unexpected event that necessitates an unplanned expenditure of money which the student does not have.”

PMHNP Scholarship

The Lois Price Spratlen Foundation invites graduate students in psychiatric mental health nursing in Washington to apply for a $2,000 Lois Price Spratlen Scholarship for the 2017-18 academic year. The purpose of the Scholarship is to support graduate research and projects that promote advanced practice psychiatric nursing. Students interested in applying for a scholarship may apply online or by mail (using the attached application form). Scholarship recipients will receive their scholarship at the Foundation Gala on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle.  Don’t delay! The application deadline is Sept. 1, 2017. I hope you will be able to let your students know about this opportunity. Please let me know if you have any questions.   • If you are having trouble with uploading immunization documentation please review the Student Training newly revised to match the new E*Value.
  • NURSING HOLDS are placed on accounts that are out of compliance passports. Please log into E*Value and update your passport today! Please email Kathleen or Rychelle to get your nursing hold released.
  • Picture ID – Please email a current picture to upload into your E*Value account. It is very important we have one for each student for emergency or security purposes.
  • IMPORTANT: Allowing a passport item to expire could result in a registration hold, a delay or cessation of your rotation until the item is updated and documented, not being able to count clinical hours accrued during the time when a passport item is expired, or Notice of Unsatisfactory Performance (NUP).
  • Please be aware that passport items change annually. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the requirements. The requirements can be found here: Passport information for ALL students
