Mid-April saw some 800 nurse scientists, nursing faculty and administrators, graduate students, and executives in Spokane for the 51st annual Western Institute of Nursing research conference.
WSU smart-home research expanding

Dr. Celestina Barbosa-Leiker, associate dean for research and associate professor, and her research team had two studies funded to examine the transition from pregnancy to parenthood in women who are in treatment for an opioid use disorder, and for women who use cannabis during pregnancy.

Rosemary and Samuel Selinger moved to Spokane in 1978, and if there’s one thing they’ve learned about their adopted hometown, they say, it’s this: small groups of people can make a difference.
