Spokane Commencement & Convocation Spring 2023

The Spokane ceremony is a combination Commencement and Convocation.

Commencement is the traditional graduation ceremony featuring campus and university administrators and students from different colleges. Commencement ceremonies are held on each campus. Convocation is the WSU College of Nursing’s traditional pinning ceremony, where nursing faculty welcome pre-licensure BSN graduates into the profession by bestowing a nursing pin. We also celebrate our graduate students and RN-BSN graduates.

Note: Doctoral students will be hooded if they choose to participate.

  • Friends, family, and cheerleaders do not need to RSVP

Convocation Attire:

• Students in Spokane are asked to wear academic regalia – caps and gowns – to this event.
