Research First Friday – Feb 3

You’re invited to November Research First Friday! Connie Kim Yen Nguyen-Truong, PhD, RN, PCCN, will present Feasibility of a Breast Health Education Intervention for Vietnamese American Immigrant Women on Friday February 3rd, 12:10-1:15 PM.
Please plan to hear about Early Care for Health – Vietnamese Women’s Breast Health pilot study, which is framed by culturally-responsive adaptations of the Transtheoretical Model of Change and the Health Belief Model. Dr. Connie Kim Yen Nguyen-Truong and her community-based research team found that the interactive group education and individual counseling successfully increased mammography screening.
