WSU Branded Clothing
Washington State University has invested years and resources in building and protecting its brand. Official student groups that want to raise money or build team spirit through branded clothing are asked to respect that effort.
Here are some do’s and don’ts for branded clothing and other products:
- Students at all WSU campuses and sites MUST use a WSU-licensed vendor to print merchandise. These vendors are responsible for knowing the rules about using WSU names and artwork. You can search for licensed vendors of specific products, or for vendors by location on WSU’s website.
- Advance approval of the design is required by both the RSO office, if applicable, and by the College of Nursing communication office (email firstname.lastname@example.org, or email@example.com).
- University preference is for logos and artwork to be separated – a logo on the back of the shirt, for example, and artwork on the front.
- Using the freestanding cougar head is preferable for official student groups, rather than the official WSU College of Nursing logo.
