Recommend a DNP
As part of their degree requirements, College of Nursing DNP students collaborate with community clinical organizations to complete a practice project. The DNP project focuses on improving healthcare outcomes through one of the following methods: a) facilitating an evidence-based change in direct or indirect care delivery, b) evidence-based policy creation or change, or c) evaluation of an existing program in the healthcare setting. This project is intended to be an integrative experience that synthesizes practice inquiry, appraisal of evidence, leadership skills, and interprofessional practice.
If you have a potential project for a DNP student, please submit your project idea using the form below no later than December 1, 2020. We will attempt to match one of our students for the spring 2021 semester. Students complete their projects over 4 semesters (360 hours).
