Spring 2020 Application

May 1, 2019

NursingCAS application opens for January 2020 admission. Please enter all course work including planned/in progress.  Please note that there may be a delay in the NursingCAS application opening, and it may open instead on May 2 or 3.

July 10, 2019

  • Deadline to apply to Nursing CAS for January 2020 admission. (The application closes at 8:59 p.m. Pacific Time or 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time).  There is a $50.00 application fee due at the time of submission.  College of Nursing admission committee does not review letters of recommendation or personal essays. Students must select only one campus to apply. Please review the NursingCAS Application Instructions if you need assistance applying through NursingCAS.
  • Submit documentation of Volunteer/Work Experience to Nursing CAS.  Download and fill out the Experience Log Form.  All applicants must complete a minimum of 50 volunteer/work hours in a health-related setting. Volunteer/work hours must be within the last three years. Students should contact the advisor for the campus they are applying to if they have questions.

July 10, 2019

TEAS results are due in your NursingCAS application. Accepted scores will be from July 10, 2018, through July 10, 2019. Reports should be uploaded directly to your NursingCAS application.  If you are experiencing difficulties with uploading your report, you may e-mail them directly to your campus of application. Results can be downloaded from the results section on your ATI account.  Do not spend the money to request official transcripts from ATI.  The report must show the subscores in Reading, English, Math, and Science.

All grades through Spring 2019 must be verified by NursingCAS.  If they are not verified by this date, applications may not be considered for review by the College of Nursing.

August 23, 2019

For students with Summer 2019 grades: Unofficial transcripts should be sent to applicant’s pre-nursing advisor for GPA recalculation. Students with summer grades will not be considered if we have not received transcripts. Official transcripts should be submitted at the time of application to WSU. If invited to an interview, students will need to send an official transcript to the university with summer grades.

Friday, October 25, 2019, and Saturday, October 26, 2019.  Please do not make any other plans for these dates, as only extremely extenuating circumstances will be considered for rescheduling.

Fall 2020 Application

For students with Winter 2020 grades: For students on a quarter system, you must bring an unofficial transcript to your interview. If you fail to provide your winter grades, you will be ineligible and will not be considered for admission. Transcripts are confidential, so please bring your transcript in a plain sealed envelope marked “Nursing Admissions.”
