Meg Jones is a clinical instructor in both the undergraduate psychiatric clinical experience and the graduate program for the PMHNP program. She has been a part of WSU family since 1998.She has also taught in the RNB program. Meg is the nursing advisor for Whitworth University students who are interested in attending WSU College of Nursing. In addition to her faculty experience, Meg maintains an active private practice in Spokane for psychiatric counseling and medication management, and serves as a consultant in psychiatric/community mental health in northern Idaho. Meg is a member of the Advisory Board for Agency Counseling for the Master’s Program at Whitworth University.

Meg has been a member of her church Stephen Ministry team for four years, and serves as a mental health resource for this team. Meg also has a therapy partner, a Golden Retriever, who has trained along with Meg to become a Pet Partner team. Meg believes that it is very important to keep one’s life in balance, and she does this by heading to the beach or the ski hill routinely.
