College of Nursing’s Kyle Ross elected to national board

Kyle Ross, Academic Coordinator at the WSU College of Nursing, has been elected to the board of directors of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising.

NACADA, formerly the National Academic Advising Association, is a nonprofit that promotes quality academic advising and professional development among its 14,000 members.

Ross will assume his leadership role at the end of the 2019 NACADA Annual Conference in October and will remain a board member until 2022.

Previously, Ross was named one of 10 mentors in NACADA’s Emerging Leaders program, and was himself a member of that program in 2015-2017.

Ross has worked at the WSU College of Nursing since 2016. He’s a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at the WSU College of Education.
